Árpád Sterbik (Serbian: Арпад Штербик, Arpad Šterbik; born 22 November 1979 in Senta, Yugoslavia) is a Spanish handball player (goalkeeper) of Hungarian origin, currently playing for the Spanish club BM Ciudad Real. He received bronze medals at the 1999 World Championships with the National team of FR Yugoslavia, and again at the 2001 World Championships. He has Serbian, Hungarian and, since 2008, Spanish citizenship.
Árpád Sterbik was voted Hungarian Handballer of the Year in 2002. Three years later he was awarded the IHF World Player of the Year title by the International Handball Federation.[1]
